2006 Fantasy League - Rd5 Portland Results

Pole Position Award - CROOKS MOTORSPORT 06
Qualifying was extremely close for this race with Crooks Motorsport, Team Prodrive and Omega Motorsports all scoring the same. Crooks Motorsport gained the Pole award through having 1st and 2nd spots on the grid.

Race Results
Team Prodrive show the rewards of a deftly-timed driver change by becoming the 4th different race winner this year. Team DBK Knowlsey Racing and Nomad Racing round out the podium. Hazards dropping of Will Power also shows immediate results, if he was still with the team then they would have picked up no points.

Hmm, a good weekend for me. I think I'll be sticking with this line up, unless of course the teams and drivers decide to play musical chairs once again...

Well, considering we missed the first round, we're not too bad off. We think our signing of Philippe was a good move, though Ranger is proving as consistent and perhaps he'd been a good choice too. We're not doubting about Wilson or Servià, even though Oriol stuffed it twice in practice and ended upside down in one of the crashes!

Team Effort is pleased. If we can get Servia into a decent car, we'll be on a real tear. Funny how Rusport copied us last year and has done so again (finally) this year.

Oh, and thanks for the super quick league updates woodbine. Nice job!

I have pulled out of the V8 supercars to put more time into this, as this looks like a good battle!
