Really Team Modena can be taken off that list, because they are running the Ferrari in GT2 next year.

It looks like not 1 of the P2 teams will take up their bid...

Which is not necessarily a bad thing? The lack of that standard of opposition could encourange some to give it a go whom otherwise wouldn't think it worthwhile?
Perhaps P2 might end up looking a bit more P2-like? |

not necessarily, that's 2 auto invites, but they can still get another selection. |

How do you think they got three entries this year?? If they want to do the same thing next year it will happen, its good for the race anyway. P2 looks a bit sparse, could it be more smaller then GT1??

What adds more to the race? A third Audi or Peugeot, or the Lavaggi or ECO things? |

I prefer diversity... Audi and Peugeot, or whatever big manufacture who wants to do Le Mans, are always very important for what they add to the race, but life does not end there. 2 entries each are enough. If they want more, do like Porsche in the 80's and sell the damn cars to privateers. I still have in mind Rondeau's victory in 1980! Last edited by LeMans.pt; 25 Nov 2008 at 09:17. |

I have nothing against a 2 car rule but if Audi enters 3 cars (because of the 3 auto invites) I am glad Peugeot will enter also 3 cars.

Peugeot's hardly the first to make only subtle name changes.
Vitaphone Racing Team vs Team Vitasystems? Paul Belmondo Competition vs Paul Belmondo Racing? JMB Racing vs JMB Competition? (or later JMB vs JMB Racing) Yukos Freisinger Motorsport vs Freisinger Motorsport? |
