Coming to Texas.
Although it is some months away I am coming over to the states in November to watch NASCAR at Texas, i am going to spectate but as a UK marshal I would like to maybe meet and have chat to some of the corner workers over there. Would anyone have contact details for a person or club that I could contact over there?

NASCAR doesn't use corner workers - they use fast intervention vehicles. If you do the pit lane walk you may be able to have a chat with the crews.
You'll love Texas Motor Speedway. Be sure to take good earplugs or ear defenders . . . it's LOUD! See here for a photo showing a lineup of all the emergency vehicles used: https://picasaweb.google.com/1163454...39211438767826 Last edited by Dave Brand; 1 May 2013 at 16:16. |
