RMR should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Combe

Mad, 2 days to go and nothing about Combe on TT.

Massive grids again. Surely they will have to split the racing like the NW soon?

Do they have the internet in Wiltshire?

Looks like it will be wet too...

Btw - Great previews on the weekends races Ian!

Oh yes we do well forum members anyway

Went up the the testing today and was impressed with the pace of Andy Jones who seemed to be right on the limit coming into quarry,Both Nick Jones and Brian Soule had a spin at the esses which makes me wonder if the new curbing had anything to do with it as my mate said a number also spun there last week too.
Also had a chat with Matt Darcy great to see him back in his car and with kevin Mills racing and by what matt said hopefully the car will be totally different under Kevin's guidance, even though matt only did a few laps while i was there and a smoke haze seemed to coming out of the side of the engine which was hopefully nothing to serious.
Ed also looked his normal smooth and quick self and i still think even though he's not unbeatable its going to be very hard to beat him so let the battle comence and the best man win

mattray has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I wasn't testing, it looks like its going to be wet on Saturday so not a lot of point going round in the dry. Hopefully i broke all the bits that are going to break when I went to Brands last week!

Bloody weather

Still i never saw that coming welldone Steven Jenson he was a different driver in diffcult conditions.

Good drives also from Pat and chris acton and also matt darcy going from 24th to 10th.

I hope the next round is dry as this spectator and his son were drenched...but it was worth it

I took £10 from RMR and Dawkins for using my expertise to determine that Blakeney would be a winner. Very pleasing, but gent that I am I will give them a chance to get something back next time.

it'll be matt darcy on the whitsun meeting at combe that.ll give him enough time to sort the car our

Till then Ed will take a win followed by steven jenson he he i don't usually make predictions as i normally shoot myself in the foot by doing it

I noticed at the first meeting that steven gibbons had no race due to being the first reserve,if entry's did start to increase and the number of reserves went up every meeting would the circuit start doing a qaulifying race?i suppose its also wether some the drivers of the championship would want to race maybe twice for one set of points?
Ifs and buts really you'd have to have a good number of reserves to do it but you never know with the rebate system it may well encourage people to want to race at the circuit.

We know that the matter is being given some consideration, but the difficulty will be squeezing everything into congested timetables.

I would've thought so, they'd probably have to - the Vees had a quali race and then people were reserves for the final. It would seem the sensible way to do it.

[edit] hasn't seen Ian's post, but yes that is a problem....

Well, it's a double-header on Easter Monday, although that is already into reserves...

The trick is with a heat and final set-up is to be slow enough in qualifying not to get straight to the final!
