Roy Misters should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Castle Coombe Monastery

The Castle Coombe Monastery has a brotherhood vowed to silence.
Once a year at their Octoberfest the Abbot, Father Dave Edwards, of Castle Coombe Monastery allows one of the brothers to break their silence to make a personal statement.
These are the minutes of previous moments of broken silence.
Octoberfest n+1.
Father Dave Edwards “Brother Simon Ashley, you have been chosen to break your vowed silence. Please make your statement”
Brother Simon “The pea soup at Camp Corner is always cold!”
One year later.
Father Dave Edwards “Brother Ed Moore, you have been chosen to break your
vowed silence. Please make your statement”
Brother Ed “I hate working at Quarry and I want more space”
One year later.
Father Dave Edwards “Brother Mathew Rivett, you have been chosen to break
your vowed silence”
Brother Mathew “I want to leave the Monastery!”
Father Dave was shocked and asked why.
Brother Mathew replied ”Because I can’t stand all this bickering!”

With a thread ttile like that it had to get my attention.
So how's the CCFF chapionship going while I'm over the Atlantic marshalling exotic things like ALMS & CART?
(They seem to have just as much bickering over here.

Mind if Ed really wants to work at Quarry, rather than just drive gently round it!, I'm sure Adrian can oblige one day, - you'll even get a signature on your licence.

I believe what Roy is saying is that some people have forgotten how to enjoy motorsport which a the end of the day is te most important thing, especially in a club championship!

I certainly enjoyed last months CC ff160 meet, was great fun, changing track conditions, some carnage....and of course the regular toy throwing of certain drivers.

A group of drivers need to remember this is a local championship with some good racing, not a spring board to Formula 1, I certainly didn't enjoy the drivers briefing before the race. Some people made some good suggestions others just moaned and brought up pettey points.

I hope this dies out a little.

I agree darcym, its a shame that Moore people dont realise this and just chill out. The Moore people that realise there is in fact Moore to life then the CCFF the better! I cant stand the bickering! its meant the enjoyment of racing has gone which was the main reason for doing it.

It really does do my Ed in, at the end of the day its an expensive sport and if you cant enjoy it whats the point??

so anyway its about time the fun was put back into motorsport and I know of a few at Combe who are thinking the same.

I learnt a lot from Robin from both racing against him and talking to him he seems to have a good grasp of just how important it is or isn't.

richard:
I have no idea what your talking about!
