The changes can't hurt. It's good to see their working at it every year until they find what works. It'll be strange not having the start finish line near pit lane, but it seems to provide a better turn 1.

Everything looks pretty much the same to me except they lengthened the entrance to turn 9 (former turn 5)and squared off the exit. The new turn 1 area is so tight I think they are asking for a pile-up or a parade until the exit turn 4. I hope I'm wrong, but I know where I will be standing for the start. The upside is the new S/F line could make for a good charge to the finish on the last lap if things stay close.
