This guy never ceases to amaze! It's hard not to be moved by what he is doing.
(Speedvision also had the interview, which is where I read it.) Some of the better quotes: "doctors say he is a good five months ahead of schedule in the rehabilitation process" - and his accident was only 5 months ago!  "Sometimes you try really hard to do something, like walk without crutches, and you don't succeed. And then, eventually, you give a turn of a screwdriver to your knee and, magically, it works." "Now, I know a lot of things about not only mechanical knees or the way they work, but, for instance, how to change a foot." I wonder how many other people will benefit from the prosthetics development that he is doing? |

The man is truly a heroe. What a great piece of news. If he does come to Long Beach, I for 1 will be there! CART should do anything in it's power to get Alex in the front office, or how about Chief Steward?
