From everything they've said, they're working on building a new car.

If I remember right, Jos Verstappen could work with Epsilon during the next season.

Any word of a Sebring appearance? I thought there was some talk of it a while ago.

That was during a time when $$ were hardly as scarce as they now are. Remember we were all sure of many things then - like Audi ALMS programs - which have since turned to vapour.
I hope that EE is doing ok, but you have to worry about a constructor/race team with no visible sponsors and an all-pro driver lineup in this climate. |

Yeah, I hope they find some reliability with their new design so they can compete for podiums. |

Yep, let's hope the team find themselves in a position to do a full programme and with a new car. The old (if that's the right word) EE was showing very decent pace by the end of last season, they made great progress. We desperately need them, I've got everything crossed.

Agree!
We need EE on the grid, and with a new car. Without testing they managed to find the pace, I hope the best for them. |

Will be nice to add a 3rd Epsilon model to our collection, wonder if the open top LMP2 will ever see the light of day? |

They were one of the first teams to confirm their presence in the 2009 LMS season, again with two entries. Money don't seems to be a problem at this point judging for the lack of public preoccupations in that matter, as they don't talk about getting "funded" drivers. The Spanish duo will continue, Miguel Ángel de Castro y Ángel Burgueño, in the "first" car, and there will be probably some changes in the second car line up. they had recognized interest in the services of Verstappen, but the legal problems he got in wount make that possible. Verstappen said that if he got convicted, it would be bye-bye to his racing career.
The car will be the ee2, with a Judd on his back, but it his just an evolution of the ee1, and not something different. Joan Villadelprat said that they had made some conception errors in the ee1, and that will be solved with the new version. Some modifications in the monocoque his the reason why the new car is called ee2, because they had to re-homologate the car. In recent comments, Burgueño showed a great deal of optimism, saying that the objective was "to tease Audi and Peugeot"... |

Jos got a 3 months suspended sentence and a fine of 1650,- euro and he has to pay his ex-wife 1 (one!) euro compensation.
Read more here: http://f1.gpupdate.net/en/news/2009/...or-verstappen/ I don't know for sure if Jos quits his racecareer. Can't find anything about it on his own website: http://www.verstappen.nl |

Well, if he's not going to jail he could drive...the question is if anyone would hire him now - bad publicity
