TVRfan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
British GT's at silverstone

Good news for this weekend at Silverstone! The saleen has been restricted to give it less power! it is to bring the races closer in the future, with that and the 100 kg ballast they are carrying now i predict a TVR win!! Also the GT class is being swelled with the Mike Haines Lotus Esprit, the QM Chrysler Viper, the Porsche GT2 and both stealths, should be good, and it looks like i can have the day off work and go!

The TVR has to pass the Lister first

Great. I heard that some cars had returned, but Ceefax only mention the Viper arriving in the series.

Are we talking about the Viper?

I heard it was an American driver, can't remember his name.

Yea, the Ultima is back with Colin Blower and Jay Shepherd at the wheel.

The Porsche GT2 will be driven by Tony Littlejohn and Rob Croydon.

Neither the Mike haines esprit nor the Mustang are on the official entry list at the moment (but then again, neither is Colin's Ultima and I know he's planning to race!)

Question is, will the Mustang be a runner at all? Hope so, diversity and all that. But at least GTO isn't reliant on Porsches to keep the numbers up.

Colins Ultima, The Morgan and the Eclipse Mantis GTO are all in now - That's 23 cars on the list!

Hakiman,

I have just logged on scrolled down to see a reply to a post I made and to see the reply was just

'great'

really annoys me. If you are going to say somthing say something if not just do not. What is the use in saying 'Great' We all agree so why post ?? Are you alone and bored ?

This is not the first time either. Please post sensible reply or go away

Simon,

A one word answer can convey just as much as a 100 word essay, that's the beauty of the English language.

Touchy! - The latest on the Mike Haines Esprit BTW is that it will be out for 4 rounds later in the eseason starting with Rockingham.

Thats a little harsh and should be done in PM.

The Lotus coming out at Rockingham, makes me want to go to that meeting even more.

I'm told that Simon Pullen became very closely attached to the fist of another driver following his dreadful blocking during qualifying, sounds like GT's might become interesting :-)

El Gibleto, do you mean the Porsche Cup? It was a racing incident but the other guy was out of line in Parc Ferme. All that happened was Simon passed him going into Copse and then the other guy turned in on Simon- not necessarily on purpose but it was enough to knock Simon into a spin and lose the place.

Simon wasn't driving the GT in qualifying as far as I know and Martin Short has been around long enough to not have to resort to those tactics.
