Thanks to the Snett marshalls yesterday
Well done yesterday ladies and gents. An abnormally high number of red flags and incidents, dealt with very effectively.
Thanks! |

The only race which didnt get red flagged was the first Mx5 race.. And they made up for that in the second one as we had to venture out and do some work in the rain and mud Well done to everyone invloved in what was a very long and arduos day. |

It wasn't me..... honest guv!
I might as well get in here before Andy does! LOL
Yep, i have to admit that I was at Riches yesterday and I think we called most of the Red Flags. Cars in the Field, Flipping Over, Head On's, Sideways into the Tyres or spinning and stalling right on the racing line. IIRC Andy, I think you had a couple of visitors at the Pits Exit and of course the Startline shunt!!!. But it still looks like i've still got the magnet ! |

We actually managed two!!! races without red flags, the first MaX5 and the second TVR race managed to get from lights to flag. Adding in the ones from practice I think we reached 9 in total for the day - certainly was trying at times!
Perhaps if the circuit changes get the OK we should ask JP to put Scalextric type slots in the track. And here's hoping you can leave the cars alone in two weeks, although at least we will have a safety car for Britcar and (should have) for FPA. |

I was directing them to riches!!!! as i was on post on me own I did put up no stopping, wheel clamping in operation signs, but still a coupe decided to visit me and some couldnt even reach me from start line, (think their aim was a bit off!) Tho the FF2000 did look nasty from my angle, might have guessed it was either you or terry there! LOL

Anyway we had a great day despite the stoppages, I spent the day flagging on my own on Russell for a change, no writer's cramp this week, but flag waving arm almost too tired to lift the pint at the crew's post race debrief! Thanks to all the competitors for their entertainment and patience, also to all in Race Control and on Recovery for the quick responses and keeping everything as close as possible to the timetable under somewhat trying circumstances at times! Yes me being in the middle, i guess i should accept SOME(but only some) of the blame. I reckon we should try the theory of the 3 of us on post at the britcar weekend!!!!!!!
but was a very entertaining meeting despite "red is the colour" |

[QUOTE]Well Steve I think we had three calls on Russell, but in answer to your last comment I believe as a certain person by the name of Andy was bang in the middle of the straight between Russell and Riches it must have something to do him actually. [QUOTE] Yeah, i think your right Terry. He didn't want to get his new overalls dirty so sent them to either me or you! I reckon he's got a magnet which reples them our way! LOL |
