That's different than the one I saw earlier today - here's the one I saw this afternoon. Did something happen to make it change or something?

Great to see Wilson on provisional. Hopefully it will be somebody other than Bourdais on pole tomorrow as well. Thinking of it, I really like this Friday provisional pole thing.
Surprised to see Ranger so high and Dominguez and Power so low. Monterrey is a strange track though with it's slippery surface and all. God it's nice to have the ChampCar season kicking into gear finally. Adding 2 and 2 together, I would guess Clarke was assessed some kind of penalty. |

Excellent run by the Rusport guys.
What I am impressed the most by, was Bourdais huge disappointment over running 2nd in provisional qualfying. No wonder the guys so successful. Hopefully AJ can jump the two of them for Saturday qualifying. Really looking foward to this race, hopefully we can go mostly yellow free and we can see these guys run hard for most of the race. |

It's nice to see that there's no one completely out of their depth this season. Given the cars that they're in everyone is competitive. (granted Legge isn't yet in Monterrey, but she has been so far given her experience)

can you believe that.
This is Bourdais 20th Pole in just 48 races , compare that to Paul Tracy who only has 25 poles , what an increddible record that is |

I had an inkling Sea Bass would take the pole on the Saturday.
Still, I remain hopeful that he is beaten in the race! |

According to autosport.com, Katherine caused two red flags and that took her best two laps away, though I don't know how much of an improvement those laps were.
In the warm-up Allmendinger has been quickest followed by Tagliani. The track was damp but drying and most people spun off, though only a red flag was caused by CTE Racing-HVM's Dan Clarke. 1 A. Off topic, but did anyone else have a totally random interruption to the Champcar coverage when they were running through the grid?
I don't know what that was all about! |
