Testing at Silverstone?
Hi folks
I was just wondering if any of you were planning on attending the Silverstone test session 21-23 August? I will be there on Wednesday 22 August and am I going to be the only one? Best wishes Suzy |

I will be there. Jaguar Racing are holding a day for their racing club memebers on the 22nd so there will be quite a few of us about. I can't wait I have never been to a testing day before and with a pit pass I should be able to get close to the cars and some of the drivers (hopefully) camera loaded with film and ready to go.

Claire,
Since Octagon took over, security has become much tighter, so don't expect to get too close to the cars or the drivers. You will have a good chance to meet them though, keep your eyes peeled in the paddock. However, after my Red Bull hospitality (which I thoroughly enjoyed), I realised I really would rather be sat at Woodcote enjoying the day with friends. Have a great time - I KNOW you will. Mf. |

Providing that no major disasters befall the Mill (cloudburst anyone? Hmm, now where's that water coming in from. Tuesday afternoon was certainly interesting and wet for a short time!), I should be on holiday that week
I'm aiming to be at Silverstone on the 22nd and might actually get there reasonably early if I'm organised and stay down that way - doesn't seem much point in going to Donington, then home and then back down to Silverstone. Anyone know what teams we're supposed to have? I can't remember |

I'm going on Wednesday, and hoping to meet up with some ITV mbs.
We've arranged to meet at The Little Chef on the A43 Towcester side, the one with a travelodge attached to it - 8.30am-9.00am, so feel free to join us |

ITV mbs - are fellow message board members from the ITV-F1 site.
Some of us are quite fickle, and post here, on Atlas and ITV-F1 and a few others as well |

Because we're so organised - we have a secondary plan for those that can't meet at the Little Chef
The second meet is at 1315 in front of the main cafe, about 200 yards to the left of the main entrance to the circuit |

WHo was driving the Jordan on the National circuit straight late on Wednesday doing practise starts ?
Hope you all had fun - three trucks to get an F1 car on the track unless you are Jordan in which case only one I heard the other day of someone who has a 1999 Schumacher ex F1 Ferrari - he needs eight people to get it going - his 1993 car only needs three |

Nice to meet you and your bro, Suzy, and to catch up with the others... certainly was a bit more relaxed than yesterday's performance at Donny...!
We aren't sure who the Jordan driver was, but was probably Alesi. Or possibly Fisi if the latest Jordan announcement is correct... |

What a great day, nicely finished off by watching Bentley unload the Le Mans car. Hopefully got some nice pics from Farm and of the cars entering the pitlane.
I think Jordan spent all day doing their practice starts, they were fun to watch I've forgotten who the driver was, somebody told me and PEW knew who he was but I hadn't heard of him. A lot better than the rubbish at Donington yesterday. Can't wait for the September test now |

The blokey in the Jordan was Andrew Gilbert-Scott, Alesi and Trulli were testing at Mugello.
The Red Arrows team were also having a day out at Silverstone. |

It was great wasn't it? Robert and I had a good time - water/food fights and all Am mega annoyed at the conflicting signals from McLaren now (see post in Formula One forum) - just when I thought I had finally made sense of it all too...
My nose is now sunburned and very sore. Still it was worth it. |
