I guess I must be getting older, and beginning to see my favorite drivers go one by one...and feeling like the replacements just dont fill the void. Am I the only one who feels this way? Am I being too harsh?

yeh i know what you mean..but you will find more favorites in time and then they will leave it is the way of the world...out of your post though i am bouyed by johnny's statement about not being scared of ovals ..so maybe this is a good sign that in 2001 he will move to the USA

Isn't there a slight possibility he will be replaced already this year by Luciano Burti?
The Brazilian is really flying every test he did - especially that one in the rain about a month ago, where he was faster by quite some margin than the rest of the current F1-stars, if I recall correctly.
This guy seems really, really promising.
