Race For A Cure - Driving a Formula Vee across Australia!!!

Hi all

That heading is not a joke at all.

A guy called Bruce Welsh is driving his racing formula vee <with headlights indercators and tyre mud gards> from Western Australian to Melbourne.

He left yesterday morning from the swan river foreshore.

He is trying to raise money for a very good cause. The cause is Juvinile
Diabetes.

For the South Australians on Sunday he hopes to
depart Port Augusta at 9am
12 miday depart port pirie
at 2pm he should depart port Wakfield
4pm departs Two Wells
6pm arrives in Adelaide

Monday 28th they are ment to be spending time in the rundle street mall area with the help of the South Australian Formula Vee Group. So If anyone is free please go down there and donate and have a look at something different!!

There is more to come and I will up date this and all the bits in victoria. Im just working off a small breif Itinerary that needs a bit of work. He's trying to make melbourne by wednesday second of march.

Go to this site for a small brief. www.fvee.org.au

Absolutely brilliant!! I wish it was thought of earlier... All the best to Bruce & all involved! You're right Nivola, open wheeler seats aren't the most comfortable for a long haul - ouch!

BTW, what make of car is it?
