Who will be the Winner At Wakefield?
Not long away now, the weekend after WA....
.. as teams rush back from Perth to get to the (very) dusty little race track not far out of Goulburn town.... Who will win, who will spin, who will throw their car in the bin? Mr d'Alberto to win for the first time perhaps, fighting with Mr Scott for the ultimate result... and Mr White in his ex-PMM-mobile making them honest.... with "No Way" Fernandez looking quicker than ever.... |

1. Thompson 2. Caruso 3. Denyer followed by: 4. D'Alberto 5. Fernandez (not as confident with my last 2) |

Would it be more appropriate to debate who will actually get to drive before trying to pick a winner? Or is the current entry list right now?

Based on the current entry list, my money's on TBA. Although I couldn't rule out TBA, or even TBA, surprising everyone.....

webb will certainly be in the first bunch....being new to v8s he has the most improvement left in him.Its a shame youlden is not in a later model car otherwise he would win hands down.

Either Thompson or Caruso
but watch out for Tim Slade, now has some laps in a car having raced at Clipsal, he has the talent to show a few people up who have a lot more experience and in some cases better equipment!!!! |

Entry List Here
4x TBA's..... Mr Fernandez shall be back presumably, with a shiny new teammate it seems... Wonder if Mr White is bringing his toys out to play, or if there are a few last minute surprises coming their way? |

I don't think Slade is there yet, give him this round to make gains, but he should be top 10...I'd say Winton he will come into his own and he will be up there. Id say thompson will be quick, Caruso will no doubt be right behind. D'alberto needs to win this year or it must be time to reconsider. Intersting to see McFadyen in there

youlden did very well at wakefield last year with only macrow being quicker than him in a ford thats why i made the comment that it is a shame that his not running in a later model car....certainly make for a more interesting race at the front.

Handy little steerer, makes his way through traffic easily and the good thing is, you don't see him lock a brake! I hope he can have a nice consistent mistake-free weekend.

Thompson all the way, Running his car from last season just under a new banner is sure to be up the front. He also has the best in the business in the pits looking after the car
