As long as I don't have to push you up this flipping mountain, I'll send you a donation. Anything to get you out of the UK!
Seriously though, good luck, you have more balls than others to do this!

Just donated - apologies for not having done so before. If I have "made it" for teddy, then please re-donate.

Will you have t'internet with you so you can keep us updated on progress? Or will we just get a "final report"? And lots of photos, hopefully. The Monkey Mask on top of the world at least!

I am awed by this effort. Giving a few pounds here and there is too easy.

You'll probably need some sophisticated kit like a Sat-phone or whatever. (I only know the term because I have read about them - see other threads about me being a technophobe.) Just take a good old fashioned camera - and don't forget a few rolls of film!!

You must be coming close to the "event". Hope the training has gone well and also the fund raising.

Good Luck.

Trying to work out 30 days from original post but ran out of fingers and toes.

Has he gone yet? How's he doing? When can we have an update?

Well all the best wishes to him for a great success. Imagine putting that on your CV?

Seriously, good luck and God bless Andy for doing this. It is a cause that is close to my heart at the moment. I wish I was still working and could sponsor loadsamoney but my contribution will have to do.

And we still want those photos!

Hey, Andy, some of us don't do Facebook/Twitter whatever - so you'd better update here, or I will get cross.

Let's hope all is going well and thanks for the update.

I still want to see photos!!!

PS: Have only done Cape Town, Durban and Pongola Game Reserve myself so not seen the "real" sights in Africa. Green-eyed monster is being held at bay!

For Shelagh from Facebook tonight:

Well back at the hotel. With the help of some amazing people i made it. Iam physically and mentally done...... but all 19,000 ft plus of kilimanjaro completed. Thankyou to everyone for their encouragement. It was needed. It was the hardest thing i have ever done.
