Herbert in the Mazza
He's loving his Sportscar right now. According to DSC he will race at Monza for Maserati! Wow. I look forward to it.
My only disapointment is that he won't be in the C for Goodwood. (I guess that was what he would be driving) Last edited by Adam43; 26 Aug 2004 at 18:48. |

I was very surprised. I don't think we'd heard anything. Good stuff though.

Why Johnny and not Larini? I think Larini has been one of the Test-Drivers for Masarati? Or is FIAT not amused about Nicola's Honda Accord- Test?

As I can't see any thread about the Imola race, do you see any problem to use this one ? If agree, I'll rename it...
And this post is just to notice that the race to come is not covered live by Eurosport, due to the motorbike races... Is there a delayed broadcast later ? |

I see Herbert and Salo are very happy with there car - both think it is comfortable: http://www.autosport.com/newsitem.asp?id=39412&s=19
The pictures of all the road cars reminds me of the 917 line up! See Autosport or http://www.crash.net/uk/en/picture_v...d=8&pid=147618 (is the pic real? Or photoshopped ) Last edited by Adam43; 31 Aug 2004 at 19:28. |

The ALMS site also announced today that Johnny will be driving the 2nd Champion Audi at Petit Le Mans and Laguna Seca to close out the ALMS season...
His team partner sharing the driving duties will be Peter Kaffer.... Good news on both fronts.....Johnny back in a prototype and Champion's 2nd car taking the ALMS grid.... |

What's the point for FIA-GT to sell the broadcasts' rights to Eurosport if the races are not shown ? |

the 33 car has 65kg because Mika Salo raced in the GPC car last round and finished 2nd. he is carrying "personal" weight of 5kg ontop of the 60kg for any new car entering the series.
never heard of such a thing. the whole ballast thing is quite strange to begin with.. |

According to Infocourse, DAMS tested two Murcielago at Adria (on their way to Imola), including a brand new one.
No reliability problems, just set-ups... |
