No, but I did see a pic of a concrete wall and a pile of tyres that ran out in front of him...

Poor Steve. All looked great after Qual at the Clipsal but it has all gone a bit pear shaped since then. BTW with no points after EC, does he get a gig for Pukekohe??

It is the top 32 cars that go to NZ isn't it? Ellery on the points standing is in 32nd position, with no points. Along with Ellery are Krause, Scifleet, Thexton, and Wyhoon.

Would make sense for Team Kiwi to field two cars in NZ...I'd say this is what they planned in borrowing IMS's license for EC (and now NZ)...

Thats going to be a lot of work for the Team Kiwi crew and Mark Porter, after they finish at Winton on Sunday they will have to leave that night in order to catch the boat to NZ. I just hope Mark doesn't bingle the car.

Yes a rabbit ran out in front of me at what i would call turn three, the right hander at the bottom of the hill, The rabbit ran accross the track right in front of me, Stopped and turned around and had another go. Somehow through all of this I managed not to hit it. Apparently a photographer has photos of it but I dont know who and haven`t seen them myself but my crew seen them. They are out there somewhere.

Steve I would have thought another 77 laps would have been better than missing a rabbit

If rain soaked tracks increase the level of exciting racing, why don't the V8s return to Tasmania?

The only thing rain soaked tracks produce these days is a Safety Car.

I still think the championship point score should reflect the Safety Cars position, it did cross the line first. That would put the Audi team equal with Mark Skaife in 15th place in championship.

The rabbit thing happened in practise though didn't it? It had nothing to do with the Sunday crash........

Steve i was right there at the fence when you missed it,

i emailed your Dad

-it was an offical photographer wearing a No 32 on his

shirt using a pro Digital Canon SLR who took it.

He scrolled the shot back and all those nearby saw it on the LCD viewfinder

A funny pic to put on your website.

It happened on Fridays 90 minute practise session near the end.

Steve, will the BA be repaired in time before the boat leaves or will the AU be making an appearance?

Is the AU actually allowed to make an appearance? I thought once you changed, you couldn't change back.

Or is a shunt considered a force majour and an allowance is made?

Was it a black rabbit? KFC cant tell the difference, maybe its a sign of bad luck going away?

And the car isnt dead, but the force behind the long handled knockometer used to put the car in some shape so it would fit in the truck was obviously someone's frustration relief.

Perhaps Mr Ellery Sr could have used that help... he looked so disappointed after the event
