Wilson out, not sure how. Shame though. Da MAtta, Firman, Wilson out then. Rookies struggling although Pizzonia is still out there i think. But he is going so slow that he is in no danger of crashing.

He is in the pits, but maybe they are doing the right thing, with so many people going out - if they can get him back into the race they maybe able to pick up some points.

Good start indeed, it's a shame Jos had to start the spare from the pits otherwise we could have seen 2 Minardi's go throught the field!
well, anyway: the only Cosworth team to get a car to the finish: Minardi Last edited by steve nielsen; 9 Mar 2003 at 06:53. |

Both Justin and Jos were impressive during the race. Jos was in 7th at one stage (mostly due to strategy), while Wilson was also high up the order early on.
Good job. |

I think you will see the Minardis up there a bit this year, due to the new rules. These rules make everyone pit at different times, and this could result in them being seen further up the grid.
Also, their wet weather setup early in the race helped them. But it wasn't a bad effort. |

Actually the new rules do no such thing. It would be nice if they did!
All we'll see in the dry races is very little until the 2/3 stoppers come in. In fact the race starts will be evn more dull than usuall!! WHY? Because the cars are lined up on the grid in order of actual speed(with that fuel load)...so less chance of overtaking 'till the first stops!! |
