Sao Paulo weather
Forecast online Looks like it's probably going to be dry. And hot. Michelin Weather! Williams Weather! JPM Weather! Most likely anyway.
I reckon if it rains Schumacher would use the F2001. If it's dry he'll have to risk the F2002. Despite the long straight the track does have lengthy slow/medium speed sections - a good opportunity for Mclaren to stir things up, even with their horsepower defecit. If you include Renault that makes six drivers with a good chance of keeping Schumi off the podium. |

Cheers. Certainly could help the Michelin runners. Either of teh tyre companies could turn up with something special though, it's very unpredictable. However, as you say, you've got to fancy Michelin being the most likely to be on top.
Has anyone seen any wet testing recently, have Michelin made any progress with their wet-weather tyre? |

Has anything ever come of the non-symmetrically grooved Michelens? Last I heard, they were asking the FIA to make the groove ruling clearer.

If it rains in qualifying, then the Michelin runners can forget it. Last year, Bridgestone were very strong in the wet - I think they have a new tyre for this race, so if it rains then its Ferrari front row - and everyone else fighting for 3rd.
Weather forcasts are messed up though. Probably an accurate forcast would be available Friday night. |
