Title sponsor for the Grand Prix of Assen
Reported from ChampCarWorld.net: The Grand Prix of Assen gets "Bavaria Beer" as title sponsor. Next thursday Dutch officials from the Champ Car Grand Prix will hold a press conference at the Bavaria Brewery...

OMG, NOOO!!!
 They were main sponsor with the A1GP at Zandvoort last year. Come 2.30 on Sunday they ran out of beer!

Bavaria's Assen race title sponsorship was officially announced today at a press conference... The official name of the event will now be:
Bavaria Champ Car Grand Prix Powered by Audi, Gant & Hertz In addition to adding their name to the event, Bavaria will also now undertake an intensive promotional campaign leading up to the race week. Still uncertain if this event will go ahead. Neighbours and Green Peace lovers have gone to court, AGAIN! They say the track has used all their noise-days and therefore this event will be illegal. However, the circuit says the Superbike event in April was not an event using those noise day. Therefore they can stage the Champcar race.

Might as well stage the race in Estoril. Although the neighbors complain, nobody listens to them, and the area is dominated by rich fascist *******s, so no treehuggers protesting.
