It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and the rollers were spread between posts 3 & 5 hope all drivers were ok.
It's a shame there won't be a Brands round. Oh well never mind lets hope it will return to Brands at some point though. |

Just to let you all know Tina Pinder 796 who went of for an x-ray after her roll is ok. Hopefully she will be out soon.

It really was the quintessential racing bank holiday - fine English weather with Lydden circuit seemingly basking in the sun, great action-packed sideways racing and an appreciative crowd.

The August Bank Holiday Rallycross at Lydden is the high spot of my marshalling calendar, and this year’s event lived up to all my expectations.
Great racing, great atmosphere at a great venue. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it so |

Hi Guys
From the clerks I would also like to add my thanks. Rallycross at Lydden always provides my greatest headaches, but also some of the best entertainment. I've also seen feedback from several spectators, some of whom are commenting that it was some of the closest racing for several years. One even mentioned since John Welch arrived at the circuit with all he needed in the back of a Granada estate! Big thanks for everyones assistance with the various rollers (when was the last time Dermot was on his roof). 58 races with 15 mins to spare, five cars on their roofs, plus a couple other red flags, not tooooooo bad boys and girls!!!!!! UDB |
