no Brundle Walk about
ITV's coverage of this weeks GP...is well poor
And even worse they have cut Martins grid walk. I'm gutted about ITV I wish digital was back |

Not cut it - he's there now and says there were technical problems.

I agree that itvs pre race coverage was one of thier most lame yet, componded with 'tech' problems.
The race pictures seemed to be a bit better though. Many incidents were missed as usual, but they did show most of them very soon after and the director tended to stick with the closest battles most of the time. I'm still annoyed that the drivers splits were almost never show and we jsut kept getting that stupid graphic showing how many stops had been made. I might just tune in 2 mins before race start next time. |

I can't believe how cheap ITV were using the same introductory clip to Bahrain as they did yesterday in quali.
Technical problems were poor and very annoying when they were showing odd video footage when they were talking about something completely different. Do you believe how cheeky Martin Brundle is sometimes? Strolling right up to the king of Spain and saying "Alright mate!" in almost those words! Well funny! |

But the King seemed genuinely pleased to see him, Brundles taxi ride for the King in the McLaren 2-seater has made him quite an important friend.

Brundle and the king are mates, yeah.
I'd rather see that than someone unnecessarily fawning. Brundle wouldn't get these interviews without sticking his neck out |

It was all a bit of a mess really, wasn't it? There were more ads than usual, and they had trouble getting the rigth pictures to go with the sound, whcih was quite amusing, especially as Martin was interviewing George Lucas and we could all see Kimi.
They made minimal efforts to go into any technical detail, made something out of nothing regarding DC, and kept saying 'Sat-oh' and 'Kline' - neither of which are even close. There's more time and money devoted to it than in teh BBC days, but seemingly littl eplannign ro care. Brundle really is the only one who keeps things above water. |

I think his interview style is hilarious and I just love the way he obviously has respect for authority but throws it out the window and jumps in with both feet! It's true, a shrinking violet wouldn't get to speak to anywhere near as many interesting people in the chaos that is the F1 grid pre-race. |

Indeed, very poor today, first off we could hear him, but not see him, then he appeared, then disappeared again whilst we could hear him talking to Rubens.

Was it my imagination or was James Allen even more agravating than usual. Quote "Two of the brittish drivers are in the points" I'm sorry did i miss somthing? I thought there was only Two Brittish drivers in the race.

ahhh the Allen factor, no matter how many times people complain ITV keep him on pay role. I was dissapointed to miss some serious overtaking such as the Klein/Massa, Webber/Alonso its not just the quality (more **** camera angles don't make it better) its the coverage done by the directors and how the team use this footage, ITV fail on using the footage.

ITV don't have any control over the actual race pictures though
