Silly Season!
There are quite a few, so I will try to type one sentence on each.
1) Not a rumor, but confirmed; The 08 of Carter/Simo racing will run full time starting next week at Indy. Drivers are Boris Said and Terry Labonte (Past championship provisional). Will run Fords and Toyotas. 2) Yates racing may fire BOTH of their drivers at season's end!!!!! 3) Keselowski could replace Stremme in the 12. 4) A forth JGR Toyota will run 4 races at season's end. Driver rumored to be David Gilliland. 5) The 78 of Furniture Row with driver Regan Smith plan to return to a full season next year. 6) This has been around for a while, but Red Bull has considered switching to Chevy. Some of these rumors are just crazy it seems. I wonder how many will be true? All from Jayski. |

^ Really? You should at least read the Regan Smith/Furniture Row bit, or the Yates bit.

Doesn't surprise me, if Hendrick doesn't find a place for Brad soon he'll be snapped up by someone like Penske Quote:

Becoming a customer of Hendrick Chevrolets. Would mean that Hendrick have effectively 7 top end cars (2x Red Bull, 2x Stewart-Hass, #5, #24 and #48) plus a big sponsor puller in the form of Jr in the #88 |

I would like to see Keselowski in a 3rd Stewart-Haas car.

Interesting rumors. I hope yates doesn't fire Paul, hes really been improving. They need to run him in more Natiowide races to get him track time and confidence.
I think Keselowski does deserve a ride, but I don't see him in the 12. think they'll want to promote Justin Allgaier at the end of the year. I think Junior Motorsports will move up to the cup series, with the help of Hendrick, and Keselowski will drive that. |

I really think that the JRMotorsports to cup option is the most plausible, seeing that SHR's 2nd car only has half sponsorship from ARMY. Maybe even *gulp* Finch.

I guess we now need to pay attention to rumors 3 and 6. Drop rumor 3 and only focus on #6.
Is Red Bull goes Chevy, That's where he's going for sure. I guess that's it for Scott Speed's Nascar career. "AND: Brad Keselowski wasn't kidding when he said he had "options" for next season. In addition to being close to re-signing a deal with JR Motorsports to run in the Nationwide Series, the latest buzz has Special K paired with Red Bull Racing. If Keselowski indeed stays with JRM, the only scenario that would work on the Cup side would be with a Chevy team. Maybe Red Bull is closer to inking a Chevy deal. Rick Hendrick said on Saturday that HMS has the resources to include Red Bull in its engine program." -Jayski In addition, Earnhardt said that there was almost no way he could bring JRM to cup. |

Strange that Speed's (potential) release should coincide with USF1's F1 entry...

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place. |

So maybe Keselowski replaces Vickers instead of Speed?

I should also mention that RCR is in deep youknowwhat. Not only is at least 1 sponsor leaving them, but Kevin Harvick has openly stated that he is trying to leave them.
If he does, I can't imagine him not going to SHR. |

Theres a lesson in all that, more isn't always better.
Jack Daniels and/or Shell/Pennzoil are the rumored potential sponsors leaving. |

They seem to have no plans of that. Besides, RCR has the #33, the flagship number for KHI.

Also, it looks like it could be David Ragan that gets kicked out of Roush.

Seems to be swinging back towards a McMurray departure, with him potentially returning to drive for his former boss Ganassi

I'm going to guess that Ask.com moves to the 17 and the 26 becomes the 96.
