Audi R10 Crash pictures
Hello all.
I went down to Sebring yesterday to see the night practice. The skys opened up and water just started pouring. The wind picked up and it was raining sideways. There was even small hail. Anyway on to the good stuff. . . . The R10 was trying to pass a GT2 Porsche on the outside line. The R10 hit a wetspot and got loose, over corrected and hit the tire wall in turn 11 hard. The driver was walking around and looked like he was ok. The car on the otherhand. . . . well lets see if the Audi crew can get their panzer ready for raceday. Here the Audi is trying to pass the Porsche The driver was out of the car, walking around and talking to the safty crew. The R10 did not fare so well. http://www.flickr.com/photos/antiund...7600002452321/ All the R10 Crash Pics I shot www.flickr.com/photos/antiundersteer my flickr site I have more pictures from practice and some from around the paddock and I will try to get them posted soon. Thanks All, Phil Woodard |

I'm glad Dindo's OK and if anyone can fix this, it's the boys from Audi. Thanks for sharing the pics Phil.

was a red flag out for the session or was that just earlier for the robertson spin? and with audi anything is expected but that looked like a vicious hit.

Most interesting - DSC's report suggests that the Robertson Panoz was involved in forcing off the line and Collin in the Konrad Porsche arrived after. Your pics and description, however, definitely indicate that the Konrad Porsche was involved in the cause. Not really surprising if either were involved though...

Didn't Dindo crash an R10 in damp night practice at Le Mans last year?
Note to Ullrich: don't put Dindo in the car in damp night practice prior to a big race... |
