Speedworx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2002 DTM using 2001 points system

Last night, I sat in bed wondering what the DTM points table would look like, had they keopt the points system and not changed over to the F1 system.

This morning,m I sat and worked it out, here are the results:

Real table:

1 Aiello 54
2 Schneider 33
3 Ekstrom 29
4 Alesi 20
5 Abt 13
6 Fassler 8
7 Menu 6
8 Scheider 5
8 Albers 5
8 Tomczyk 5
11 Alzen 4
12 Reuter 3
12 Wendlinger 3
12 Winklehock 3
15 Bartels 1
16 Tiemannn 0
16 Maylander 0
16 Dumbreck 0
16 Mucke 0
16 Huisman 0
16 Olivier 0
16 Jager 0

Using 2001 system:

1 Aiello 101 (0)
2 Schneider 76 (0)
3 Ekstrom 74 (0)
4 Alesi 49 (0)
5 Abt 39 (0)
6 Fassler 30 (0)
7 Albers 25 (+2)
8 Scheider 23 (0)
9 Menu 19 (-2)
10 Alzen 16 (+1)
11 Winklehock 15 (+1)
12 Wendlinger 14 (0)
13 Reuter 13 (-1)
14 Tomczyk 7 (-6)
15 Maylander 5 (+1)
15 Huisman 5 (+1)
17 Bartels 4 (-2)
17 Dumbreck 4 (-1)
19 Jager 3 (-3)
20 Tiemann 0 (-4)
20 Mucke 0 (-4)
20 Olivier 0 (-4)

The brackets indicate difference. I was a little surprised at the small number of differences between the 2. I expected there to be more.

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
So I am not the only one that does that sort of thing. I am very relieved I am not alone!
