Everything worked out more or less as you might expect among the top runners. Raikkonen and Ricciardo appeared to have impressive drives, with some neat overtaking from Kimi.
I'm going to give it to new driver Alexander Albon for a drive from the pitlane to a point. |

Albon for me. A great drive in the circumstances and despite old tyres held Grosjean out at the end.

I think Hamilton gave us a master Class in how to win not only a race but Championships. Having got the start right he was simply so consistent, preserving tyres, engine, gearbox. Even when Bottas was putting up fastest laps he was just easing away, seemed to be in total control, no flamboyance, just fast all the way through.
Agree Albon was brilliant to get points from the pit lane Vettel will be somewhat down, losing the point for fastest lap right at the end Really enjoyed the race |

As expected, most people give it to Albon. He certainly did well to drag a modest mid-filed car from the pitlane to 10th, but gaining places down at that end of the field is a lot easier, and he did profit from his team-mate's attack on McLaren. Inevitably we didn't see much of him on the TV so could only monitor his progress via the on-screen graphics.
I thought Leclerc might be deserving as he was once again quicker than his four-time WC team-mate. He made just the right level of protest before doing what the boss told him. Finally I've taken the obvious path of giving it to the winner. He made a blistering start from the dirty side of the grid to overcome starting "only" second and then just controlled it all. Not dramatic, not exciting, but totally effective. |

Albon - great recovery drive after his mistake in practice. Kudos to Kimi for a strong showing too.

Maybe Perez deserves some credit too. He didn't get any votes here but he got a fairly high rating on Autosport.com
The Racing Point probably is not the 5th best car on the grid at the moment. |

Well Perez has still got it. He has been forgotten, but he’s doing a good job with that car. Wait till he gets to the circuits where hopefully the car is suited better to
