I thought it was good. could've been better if Lewis had gotten by Sainz and Wehrlein quicker, but that first turn incident made for a good chase.

I was initially disappointed with Hamilton and Vettel making contact and then both having to pit. However, I enjoyed seeing which of the two would be able to make the most of the situation. It also meant the TV coverage could show some of the other drivers battling it out further down the field. 7

9. Was the race that decided a championship, as well.

Surprisingly, I'm rating it lower than most people. I hovered between 5 and 6 and went for 5. I think it was just the disappointment of not having the championship protagonists battling it out at the front.

As already said great to see Lewis and Seb both battling through the back markers and how each managed it, Lewis had less incentive but it still made the GP fun to watch, i think Max won but little on the coverage of him. Gave it an 8

I must say I really liked it,especially the Ch4 coverage.Vettel again nearly had Hamilton off,but probably unintentionally this time and ruined his own chances. That gave an excellent race with some fine overtakes.Alonso has lost none of his lovely passion in being an all out racer, and next year with decent donk behind him, should bode well.Verstappen meanwhile producing a twenty odd second gap to Bottas shows just how quick everyone knows him to be,and next year might well be a full World Championship contender with a bit more power.A remarkable race considering no one thought there would be overtaking, and the Mex crowd surely made it even better in the flesh.A definite seven, only lacking the 2 main protaganists fighting it out from the front with Verstappen.Really looking forward to next year now, hopefully with no Halos??

The thing is: with VET and HAM up front, the overtaking would not have taken place. Other than those two, there were hardly any fights. And it is highly doubtful that the (then) top 3 would have been able to fight between each other because the cars had similar speeds.

Exciting race, even if the result left much to be desired, and I'm not talking about Max winning, either. That was great.
Good effort by Ocon as well.

Gave it a 7.

agreed. the initial contact, the loss of places for both added a lot of enjoyment for me.

I'll give it an 8. Good individual performances and seeing Seb and Lewis having to get up through the field kept our interest up

indeed. the elevation in Mexico offers a unique set up and engineering challenge compounded by teams near the end of the PU allotments.
