It seems it is unnofficial, but it does have all the hallmarks of having some credibilty. No Enzos, Carrera GTs etc.

It looks a bit too like the fake one we've been warned about, but it would be great nonetheless (although how can you have all those BMWs without a CSL and the Jags without a Lwt E'Type? - just being pickey). The date on the post looks too old as well.
But I'd be very happy to be proved wrong. |

These lists seem to spring up all over the place - if that is the proper list then I'm happy, lots of Group B cars and super tourers, marvellous.

I hope there is an old shape Beetle like it say's in the list, it'll make up for having the stupid "new" Beetle! but good to see some classic racing cars and road cars.

I'm telling you, this list is probably the most accurate one out that I know of.
http://www.granturismox.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=73 EDIT: That list has Lambo on it and we all know EA has the rights to Lambo, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW ///M cars, Mercedes sports cars, etc. One can still hope though. Last edited by RM40; 21 Feb 2004 at 00:02. |

It's not completely exclusive. If you're willing to pay, they're willing to allow. Polyphony has said that the licenses are too expensive and they don't really want exotic cars, more like the cars you can go out and buy yourselves. That is the main attraction to the game, afterall.

That's good, I'm more on the '60s an '70s cars myself, and I was really pleased there'll be cars like Alpine A110 and Datsun 510 (aka 1600).

i guess no one will know thye real list until we play the game, and thats all part of the fun i think. Finding how much something is and saving up for it, then there are all the hidden ones.

That's true Smokey, though the lenght of time we'll have to wait for the game means that it's only natural that we'll continue to guess!

Marcos' are in for sure, both past and present. And the McLaren F1 is in GT4: Prologue, so unless something comes up like the Diablo or CLK-GTR in GT2, it should be in GT4.
