Guess the car
On LMSR.net:
"LMSR.NET was exclusively invited today to see a test mule shakedown. The ear-splitting sound reminded us of early 90's LeMans. The principles say they will anounce their intentions when "the time is appropriate"" I figured it out when they said early 90's. And along with ear splitting, it has to be a Mazda rotary engine. If one has to guess, there are suggestions that Spencer is working on an LMP2 Mazda project. Their past track record has not been overwhelming, so we shall see.

There are some 3 rotor Mazda RX8's headed for the Rolex GT class soon... but the "test mule" part dosn't sound like a normal phrase associated with GT cars

Rotary seems the obvious conclusion; perhaps all of those Mazda LMP2 rumours weren't so wild after all?

patrick do you have a source for that as I follow the rotary group pretty closely and have yet to here of a 3-rotor renesis being built or even being in the design phase or is that motor still based on the old 2/3rotor architecture from the rx-7?
