Group'C' should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
79 Hang Ten 400

I am looking for vidieo footage (If there was any about)of the 1979 Hang Ten 400 from Sandown,This was filmed by the ABC,I belive?
In Particular I am looking for the footage of the 2 Roadways A9X Torana's when they ran into each other at Repco corner (This was at the end of the front straight)

Any other footage(or pictures) available of the Roadways cars would be apreciated.

That looks rather more like an L34 than an A9X.

I really think they could have found a better place to park it!

Man I love it.

Being the true blue Ford Fan I am.

Does look like a L34, but then how many photos would there be of this obscure team?

I'm sure it's an L34, the A9X had the reverse facing bonnet scoop. Also, most A9Xs were hatchbacks.

I love the Billboard though.

Yes it is an L34, They ran out of Brakes, I think Garth Wigston may have been a bit hard on them.

This car has actualy been returned to a road going version and is still owned by the Roadways group, belive it is to be placed in the Tasmainan Motor Museum in Launceston. Talked to one of the Mechanics today and he reckons it had atleast 4 fronts on it, maybe more.

David there where actualy more 4Door A9X'S made than Hatchbacks, and pretty sure more 4door's raced as the L34 was easy to convert, except the floor pan.
