307 isnt finished yet, hope to talk to George on Saturday and get an update on it progress. Yeah it'll be the 306 or maybe the 6R4 that would be used if he retires from Galway. Seems alot of the English Supercar drivers have shown an interest in the Irish series this year with Pat Doran rumoured to be coming across for a few events aswell as Mike Manning making his usual trips from Camarthan. Will be nice to see a healthy grid of Supercars popping and banging along the main straight

Bert I think the 306 is going to be loaned to other drivers or used for some of the British and Irish rounds, the original plan was that the 307 was for the Euro Championship

Good point Roundy - that'll give us an indication of the relative performance differences between the supercar boys and a contemporary top line rally car.
Also that entry list clears up the Briggs/Focus mystery - he's in the Clio so it must have been a typo As for predictions: Carnegie Evans McCluskey Coyne for the modifieds. |

Time to add George Tracey to the Supercar equation...he retired from the rally in Galway today and the crew headed back to base to collect the 306 for tomorrow

Terry Briggs was over with the Clio, was going well all day but had a problem after the A final and didnt start the Superfinal which resulted in "Mad" Mark Watson wheeling the Xsara out of the holding area and lining up on the back of the grid, think he ended up 5th, he was getting quicker in each run and had a few nice battles with Briggs in the heats<br />
