New Sponsor?
Near the end of the Cleveland edition of the audio roundtable , Gordon Kirby mentioned that he hears a major well-known brand name is coming on board in late July/early August as a sponsor for one of the major teams. He believes this will help CCWS in general as this company show commitment to Champ Car. Should also help the smaller teams ramp us their sponsorship programs.

I hope it will be a team other than NH this time. Perhaps we'll hear more rumours in Toronto.
The interesting thing about this tape, to me, was the observation by the driver from Richmond who said he was "doing the double" because he liked Cleveland and would not do it if it was 'just another oval.' |

Hopefully Forsythe can finally get a sponsor for Tracy - it seems amazing that they've got 1 1/2 yers without any real backing for the 2003 champion.
