Matt Hamilton will not be there. Such a shame - he was doing great things in very old machinery, but it looks like he has run out of cash.

but there is a new driver in play this weekend via Triple 8 and his name is Daniel Lloyd and the youngest racer this weekend, in other word we lose one we gain one (only for this race at the mo and just like above looking for cash)

Such a shame for Hamilton as he did a great job, any ideas who has bought his car and is it due to be run in the BTCC again?

I can see the battle for the title moving up a notch at this event with some robust driving and tactics.

Despite being a regular at Croft I've never made it to a BTCC meeting there. I'm going on Sunday though. Do you reckon I'll need to book advance tickets or will I be alright showing up on the day? What's the traffic normally like?

Going Sunday as well, traffic getting out of the car park is usually bloody awful. Took me nearly 3 hours last time. I may have a spare ticket, got some last minute as a birthday present and as it's such short notice and fathers day I'm struggling to find a taker among my usual friends and companions! Too short notice to get a baby sitter for the baby so the missus can't come with me. Got a couple of people coming back to me today but if they can't do it I'll put another post up.

As per my last post I've got a spare ticket if anybody wants it. If anybody is interested, put a post up and I'll check back later.

This one and Knockhill are the only two I won't be going to this year, just too much of a trek for me, so my usual BTCC weekend ritual of getting either sunburnt or soaked (it's always one or t'other...) followed by tanking it home to watch the races again will be replaced by vegging on the sofa for 6 hours

Can't beat being there though...

Hopefully Owy will have a better weekend than Oulton, also got my fingers crossed for Sheds to have another strong one, and of course would love to see the Milltek boys getting themselves into the midfield mix a bit more.

So what you are saying is:
crashing into another car = BAD
Neal taking out Collard = GOOD

A massive well done to Andy Jordan on first BTCC win, it has been coming for along time. IIRC I think I saw his first Rallycross drive and him win the Ginetta Winter Series both Croft.

I think he's got lost on the way to the official forum and found here instead....

I felt it was all a bit too rough and heavy handed today. I was willing Tom Boardman on to get a podium in race three, but in the end he was bullied out of the position.

I just feel a bit sorry for WSR. They obviously don't have a major sponsor, they haven't had a win yet, they have been punted out of quite a few races whilst in good positions, had quite a few repair bills and Neate doesn't appear to be able to have any real pace...

I think they could do with a win.
