I'd love to see the first wet qualifying session under the new rules. That could really mix up the grid. But Austria usually produces an exciting race whatever the conditions. It's so annoying that its this one that'll go and Hockenheim that stays (I'm not bothered either way about the new Nurburgring)

Austria could have been a good circuit if they had preserved some of its fast corners. They should keep turn 1 through 2 the same, and change the rest of the corners to make them fast.

Unfortunately all the fast corners are past turn 1 and turn 2 of the current circuit. They are where they park the coaches now! Making new fast corners is a little tricky too, there are loads of mountains in the way!
Check out http://www.racingcircuits.net. It gives some idea. Last edited by Adam43; 13 May 2003 at 18:54. |

I always think a good bit of rain gives us a better show .
As long as it doesnt make it too dangerous , then i say lets hope it rains . |

Sounds bliss, I wish I was there. The setting is amazing. The Mountains look superb in the morning sun.
Actually seeing as I am at home a bit of rain in a competetive session would be nice |
