World Grand Prix - Street Circuits Welcome!
I'm thinking about creating a fictional "role-playing" racing game, and I'm making some tracks for it. They are around 20 cities from around the world, generally 8-16 miles. But on the screenshot I'm showing you, it is not so robust-sounding.
The event... Grand Prix of Sydney Sydney, Australia 2.29 Miles The track map is attached. Also, a question - what is a good software other than SketchUp or Google Earth that many use to create a track? Not a street circuit, but a regular track. Just so you know, here are the 20 cities I am planning to "host".
I'm hoping to map all of these on the streets of these cities. I've got Cape Town, Vancouver, Rio, London, Sydney, and Paris done, and will be working on D.C. soon. |

Sydney, Vancouver, Helsinki, Monaco, Rio and Wachington already have or have had street-races, so they are easy. Rome, Buenos Aires and Sjanghai have international ciruicuits close by. That should offcourse not stop you to think of a street-circuit as well :-)
The ciruit of Sydney is located in the area that hosted the 2000 Olimpics. |
