Heaton Rudd Monoposto Special

I am trying to locate the new owner of the Heaton Rudd Monoposto Special which was recently sold via the Cheshire Classics website. I have an affiliation with this car and was sure it would have made its way onto the hills by now having been sold somewhere in the Midlands I was told. This car was built in the mid 60's, predominantly to run in Monoposto but also used by its creator Heaton Rudd (Jack to some) in Hill climbs and sprints in the south until around 1977 where it was sold. The family bought the car back in the 90's where it was rebuilt to its former standard and glory and sold on once again. It would be great if anyone has any information on this car.

Does Damon Milnes at Cheshire Classics not know who he sold it to?

I am Jack (Heaton-Rudd's) son and the family member that rebuilt the car with him. I have been so interested to find where the car had been sold to. Feel free to send me a private message, where I can let you have my phone number.

Heaton Rudd monoposto

Hi, I recently acquired the Heaton Rudd Monoposto which is the topic of this discussion. I'd be very keen to find out more information about its history or make contact with previous owners.
I'm intending to use the car in speed events in the North West next season.
Regards, Gerry Richards
