H16 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Peugeot are back with Henri next year...

I saw a qoute in Autosport the other day which said that Henri Pescarlo would return to Le Mans in 2002 with Peugeot power and more moeny. This is great for Henri, hopefully Courage can produce some developments on the C60 and Henri can get a top five finish again.

Sweet looking car

haven't they signed the designer who made the Peugeot 905's in the early 90's? That should also help them in 2002.

yes, that guy knows how to design a car that can get around that place. Still, unless Peogeot throws their entire weight behind the project, it will be extremely difficult to beat Audi. Just having some of the very best resourses will not be enough. They will need ALL of the best resourses if they are going to compete with a team that has ALL the right resourses.

But we all have to cheer for anyone who takes it to Audi. I am really a big admirer of the Audi program as they continually redifine excellence and advance the art of sportscar racing. But we want to see a race, dammit. I've enjoyed nothing more than watching Panoz drag out his old dog and kick dirt in Audi's face a few times. Not because i dislike Audi (which I most definately do not), but it is always so thrilling when the underdog wins.

If Henri can pull it off, it will be 1980 all over again, only it will be an even bigger upset. Remember '65? '69? How about '85? '91? It doesn't happen often, but now would be a great time to boost the interest in SC racing. Go Henri!
