WRX Experience
Up on the Gold Coast I did a great half day of driving. It's called the WRX Experience. Basically 1.2km of dirt and a couple of 215kw WRXs. A MY99 and MY02.
They teach you how to drive on dirt...in other words rallying. A heap of fun and good experience to boot. They're going to be adding an STi and Group N spec soon. |

elephino - I read the thread title and thought it was going to be a tell-all about a one night stand with Wrex.

A tell-all, eh? That would involve me telling how good/bad I did though
I actually did well with the 3rd best time of the group on their handicap system, due to watering the track to reduce dust, and second best actual time (by about 0.1s). The trick is to be good with the throttle and remember to back off slightly when coming out of corners. Very difficult to do when used to normal road and track driving. |
