Ocon. He drove superbly to hold of Hamilton.

Ocon. Brilliant defending and snagged Alpine's best result of the year in the process.
Kudos and congrats to Max. |

Totally dominant performance by SuperMax who now wins his first legitimate World Championship (provided it doesn't all go pear-shaped when the cost-cap results are revealed).

Max drove like a champ, well done. He was the driver of the day, indeed.
I give this vote to Sebastian, though, for getting back there in top ten. I loved seeing that. |

Ocon for a really tidy race under huge pressure from Hamilton.
Verstappan never under pressure but braved out the 1st corner, which was impressive. |

Max by a significant margin. Congrats to Ocon and Vettel for great drives.

Max was peerless but Ocon gets my vote - very calm, controlled drive under a lot of pressure from a driver who really knows how to apply pressure - the young fella did good.

Max, he drove faultless and deserves the title, even if the way it was decided left a bad taste in the mouth
Kudos to Ocon too |

Well perhaps not the greatest drive on the day but to get his first points of the season and with only a few F1 races left in his career i suspect i decided latifi gets my vote today

I hadn't considered Latifi (generally he's pretty unmemorable - or memorable for the wrong reasons) but it's a decent shout.

Latifi got up there due to rolling the dice and stayed in the top 10 due to a level headed mature drive, showing he can do the job on occasion

His best F1 results are, 7th in Hungary last year as well as 9th in Belgium, though that wasn't really a race and 9th in Japan last Sunday. |

Yes, it seems he is quite good in wet/mixed conditions.
