American Sports Car Racing - 1950s

Can anyone help?

I'm looking for a good web-based resource on the sports car racing of the early fifties, especially the races held on Air Force Bases such as McDill, Bergstrom and Savannah.

I've got the Lynch, Edgar and Parravano book, and I'm afraid it's whetted my appetite for more information.

What's out there, people?
