Albon, for what looked like a solid drive.

Alex, but Lando a close second. Max was excellent as usual.

Albon. Really stoic drive!
Lando did well though, nice to see him doing some overtaking for a change. |

Albon for getting Williams best proper result since Mexico 2017... (I dont count the 2021 follow the SC race at Spa where GR came 2nd)
Splendid weekend from Alex with a masterstroke brave use of slicks in qualy Q2 and a brilliant race. |

Albon for me also. In a 20th place car, to grab the position he did is nothing short of brilliant.

I voted Albon for a old fashioned Perez-like drive - making a strategy work that meant a result better than the car should have delivered.

Obviously I could have chosen any of the top 3 who all did a good job to get themselves a good result. But then I would have had to vote for Verstappen because he won. Instead I voted for the driver who both got it right in the patchy wet qualifying AND defended his position right through the race. Alex Albon.

Another vote for Albon, got a much better result than could reasonably have been expected.

I can't see past Albon for this. Verstappen did what he had to, but didn't get the pressure to prove any more. Alonso was mighty yet again. Norris became a real fan of the hairpin, sometimes pulled it off and sometimes didn't and was on it all race. Well done to Stroll for nipping past Bottas and reversing what the Alfa Romeo driver did to him in Baku years back. Piastri also seems to be getting it more together. DeVries looked racey, but still a bit clumsy.
