Rheindic Raceway
Rheindic Raceway is dual layout circuit measuring 2.2 miles (3.5km) for the 10 corner club circuit, with the 16 corner GP circuit measuring 3.1 miles (4.9km).
From the level Start finish straight, the Circuit climbs gently up through an open chicane that is T1 and T2, due to the location of the pitlane the pit exit joins the after T2. A short straight in which the ground levels off leads into the T3 Hairpin, this is perhaps the first real overtaking chance of the lap although someone might try up the inside of T1. The ground remains at this level through T3 but begins to drop away through the open left handed T4 onto a downhill straight. The club circuit continues along this straight which levels out at the 2/3 point, to rejoin the GP in a chicane of which the GP circuits T12 forms the second part. The GP loop leaves the straight approximately 1/3 of the way along by way of T5, an open left handed curve that immediately flicks through the right handed T6 onto a medium length straight that levels out in the heavy braking zone where overtaking is possible into the left handed 90 degree T7. A short straight leads into an open right hander of T8, which is really a set up corner for the greater than 90 degree right handed T9. From T9 the circuit winds though the right handed T10 with the cars picking up speed through the gentle left of T11 before again heavy braking and overtaking is possible into 90 degree left handed T12. T13 follws immediately and is a gentle right curve which sets the cars up into the long left handed sweeper that is T14. This exits in a Hockenheim fashion into a straight-ish entry into the T15 open hairpin. The exit of T15 is vital as it leads onto a straight which provides the speed cars will carry through the final corner a medium fast right hand sweeper. The solid Blue areas are grandstands, while the lesser Blue areas are general access viewing mounds. As usual Comments and edits are appreciated. |

Well done, SBF. Even though overtaking might not be possible for every series in the places you have outlined (e.g. F1), this one is amongst your best circuits. And it has quite a unique blot shape, too ... kind of reminding me of a dog.

Nice, though a bit too 45, 90 and 180 degrees for me.
