direxiv sponsor info
hi i would like to know if anyone can tell what business Direxiv are in.. I understand they are japanese run/ monaco based and run by a former japanese grid girl but what do they do???
I ask because i notice they seem to be support many drivers/ teams/ series in many formula such as F1, GP2. Formula Nippon, SuperGT, F3 and more... thanks

From what I undestand Direxiv appear to be in the venture capitalist industry with an outline in this article http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns16283.html, although details appear to be somewhat sketchy.

They've been going too long for that to have been the case. You cant run multiple GP2 cars for a year on faith, and you wouldnt pass McLaren's due dilligence.
I dont think a grid girl is running the show, she might be the face, but you dont make that kind of money as a brolly-dolly; even in Japan. |

I met the ex race queen owner - chief of Direxiv yesterday (shes really young!) and got the full story about the past present and fututre.But that tale is reserved for the mag readers!
She's also quite a major celebrity over there. Over there there are entire magazines dedicated to race queens (uber grid girls), and they are all quite big stars. Now should I post a few pics of grid girls? |
