Who's Going to the Molson Indy Toronto?
I'll be there all three days (I live right up the road from the track, so it's a given) - I know Jay will be there - anybody else?

I've heard from 3 or 4 people from Race Family Motorsports and one from a Helio website who will be there. Unfortunately for me they are all girls.
I've entered a contest to spend the day with Oriol Servia. I figured nobody in Toronto knows him so I have a really good chance of winning! |

hehehe...maybe. I wonder what you guys would do?
I thought Minardi Fan mentioned that he would be in Canada for it, but I am not sure if he ever got around to it. I don't blame him if he doesn't make it. These are probably the busiest two weeks of the summer in Ontario. Even in Ottawa... |

We'd have a nice dinner in the motorhome, talk about Sigma Racing (like "who exactly IS Sigma Racing?") and studiously avoid mentioning Surfer's last year ... and I would have my picture taken with a very cute guy and all my friends would say "Is that your son?"
However.... Viva Espagna! And I hope I win, even if I would end up having to war a Sigma Racing jacket. |

well have fun at the British GP! A race I hope to go to sometime (maybe next year depending on finances)....
Anyways, I'm off to Toronto tomorrow morning on the 6:00AM train out of Ottawa. I should arrive just in time to hear that Beijing will be hosting the 2008 Olympics. One good thing is that Mayor Mel Lastman will be in Moscow in not in Toronto... I'm hoping to spend the first part of the day snapping pictures from various corners around the track..and then check out the autograph session at 4pm, with plenty of wandering around the paddock in between. Liz, if it is possible, I wouldn't mind meeting up with you in the same spot we did last year (the pre-lineup to get into the motorcoach area for the autograph session)... I'm not sure what my Saturday will be like, so Friday would be best.. I'm working tonight, so I wont be able to respond until....say midnightish.... |
