Australian Group Nc Historic - Eligible Cars

I'm looking at buying a car to restore with a view of entering it in the Group NC Historic class for Australian Touring Cars between 1965-1972 and I was wanting to get my hands on a list of eligible cars.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if there is a complete list of eligible cars, due to the number that are eligible. Are you thinking of a particular car?

From the Cams website "Group Nc is for touring cars of a make and model which competed in Australia between 1st January 1965 and 31st December 1972 in either the Australian Touring Car Championship or in races specifically for the 3rd Category Group C Improved Touring Cars. "

This might be a start: http://www.htcav.com.au/Documents/Li...Sheets0505.pdf

Camaro/Mustang/Falcon/Torana

Please don't go the Camaro/Mustang/Falcon/Torana route....theres a million of em!!

Look for something a little different and with character that was raced in the period Thats the thing that makes Historic tin-tops great....cheering for the front runners OR a Hillman Imp or a Simca Aronde (phwooor )

Do some reading here....

I got very excited about a Studebaker located in Western Australia that was for sale a few months back and that had real period race history. That would be a great option I think!

Not a ban, Rob, but now my worst fears are confirmed, please don't say it again, and, noting our site rules, it actually doesn't add anything constructive to the discussion, does it?
