Do you think there is anything which can be learned off FFord to make other formulas less boring.

But FF should always race around Brands......
ok, not seriously, but it's my favourite circuit, and I love to see the FFs coming into Paddock on the first lap....or when you've got a good fight going on.....and then up the hill into Druids, round, down the hill, Graham Hill Bend.....could go on all day! Just beautiful. |

Just done a search on Motors TV, which came up with nothing. Would you expect it to be on there, or on somewhere like the 02.35 Motorsport UK programme on ITV? I really can't remember anything about it now!

No wings is key. I think Joey Foster said the biggest change he noticed with Renault's was you could not get too close with the car in front as you would suffer the normal story of loss of grip.
Don't have that problem with FFord, you can run too close at times. |

I've often wondered about the wings on the zip cars as well. They seem too low to be effective- more for looks?? Advertising space??

Realist is right.
They are not intended to offer any aerodynamic function whatsoever. They are designed purely as bumpers. The whole wing and pod bit is just to prevent interlocking wheels. In fact just like grown up karts for growing up karters. It is the karters who are their target market after all. |
