Thank you All - 26th March - Anglesey
Sorry I couldn't post this earlier, but I've only just got home from Anglesey. [loads of paperwork to sort out]
Thank You, or any other words just don't express what I want to say. There is dampish wet * very wet * very very wet * rain of monsoon proportions * and then there is what you boys and girls had to endure yesterday. It was cold, it was windy, the rain was horizontal and you all stuck man and womanfully to your posts. None of us will ever see weather like that again in our lifetimes On behalf of Alistair Garrett and his senior officials team, myself and all at Anglesey Circuit THANKS A MILLION I hope you won't be put off from coming back on 30th April for a Club Formula Ford NW double header, Ford XRs' etc. And again on 20/21 May for the Leinster Motor Club weekend, with another Club Formula Ford NW double header * Irish Fiat Punto’s / Uno’s * Irish Fiat Abarths * Irish Historics * and Irish Porsches and not to forget Now that is what I call a programme. The Legends are back I'm not sure who you volunteer to, but I'm sure someone on here will post the marshalling contact details. |

Diz,
i know i cant speak for everyone but i enjoyed? it in a perverse sort of way. yes you're right, very very unusual weather conditions, i have seen them before on circuit and no doubt will some time in the future! helps keep you on your toes that waterproofs are up to scratch.... i was warm + dry under mine! April & May anglesey meeting volunteering is on the outlon/anglesey volunteering form available to all marshals pre-season. |

Had a great time escorting Richard Asher from Autosport. He stuck it out until the end and was well impressed that we were still there too!! Hopefully we will get a good write up - I have asked for some copies when it appears in an issue in the April edition. Richard is also hoping to put in an appearance at F3/GT meeting at Oulton over Easter.
On another note - did anyone pick up my gloves from the bar. Left in a bit of a hurry and I think I left them on the table in there!! Thanks |
