Brands Hatch 22/23 May
Anyone had any info through for this weekend's CSMA meeting yet? I know it's only Tuesday, but usually there's something arrived in the post by now. Any info reference times, parking arrangements etc gratefully received

I received my paperwork, tickets etc over a week ago. I suggest you contact Karen at BARC straight away. Marshal's sign-on is at 7:30 on Saturday and 8:30 on Sunday.
There are eight races Saturday afternoon, including one bike race, and nine races including bike and BOSS on Sunday. In addition there will be the various air displays and vehicle demonstrations including a tribute to Lotus. IMHO one of the year's best meetings. |

I agree with you Bryan, a meeting one simply MUST attend. See you on the start line then!

Wonder if I will end up on 22a again, shifting hay bales! Best part of the week-end Stephen!

adstubbs - have you had your passes yet - because I haven't either. Is this another oversubscribed marshals meeting like the Touring Cars and they've closed the list ? BARC are giving me an inferiority complex! No-one wants me!!

Sue,
Ring Karen Coddington and she will be able to tell you if you are on the list or, if there has been a postal error. ps, can you ring Claire? |

Spoke to Karen at BARC yesterday, apparently I wasn't down for this weekend, although they do have my name down for Rockingham on June 2nd, which I volunteered for at the same time as this meeting, all done via one e-mail to BMRMC in March. She said you will need tickets to get in (even at 7:30am on a Saturday, wearing orange overalls?), and although she was posting some to me 1st class, they're unlikely to show up before tomorrow, and I'll be leaving home about 6:30 in the morning. Haven't yet decided if I'll try reasoning with the gate staff, but I don't really want to miss the first day of what looks to be a cracking weekend. Hey ho...

The new entry rules for MSV circuits start 1st June so you shouldn't have too many problems as long as you are wearing your overals.
