And I thought the STCC was going to be big & diverse - turns out the DTC got the STCC beat (27 teams, 10 different makes).. Oh well, at least they won't have any Audis on the grid

Are the Corolla's saloons or hatchbacks? IT seems there is quite a manufacturer representation in the DTC?

It's the Corolla T Sport, which is strikingly similar to the Honda Civic Type R.

Are there any photos of the new shape Megane Sports Hatch racer?

The Danish rounds of the DTC will be shown on TV2 Zulu ( http://zulu.dk/). Recently the cable access was restricted, but I just don't know about the technicalities of satelite dish receiving.

This is a link to Renault Sport in Denmark http://www.renaultsport.dk/, but it just don't work yet.

Yes, 27 cars is a lot, and in difference to previous seasons all seems to be genuine all-year competitors.

Just over 2 weeks to the first race and expecting a bang of a season.

Isn't there also a German series for 2 liter cars called the DTC?

I think the German series is known as the DTC while the Dutch series is DTCC? But we're getting too technical?

I understand the confusion of names. Originally The Danish DTC is short for the Danish Touringcar Championship. After a while somebody pointed out that Touringcar is two words in English, thus it should be shortened to DTCC. By then the original name was already in place, and it was decided to stick to DTC, conveniently disregarding any correct spelling in the process.

The German DTC is short for Deutsche Tourenwagen Challenge, while the Dutsch series will sadly be of no concern this year, from what I have learned somewhere on this forum. Mayby this is where the "cancellation of the DTC" comes from kmchow?

I hope Fox Sports or ESPN takes it up so we can get it down here.

The DTCC (Dutch Touring Car Challenge) has indeed been cancelled for this year. As far as I know, the German DTC will run as normal (with the Top 10 package, shown on DSF)

I must correct myself... DTCC stands for Dutch Touring Car Championship. But it's still cancelled ;-)

Wait, I'm confused now? Perhaps, I goofed up. So what is the above entry list? I thought it was for the DTCC or DTC, or whatever, the Dutch series?

Just to add to the confusion over names, but doesn't Dutch mean German (for Deutsch) in the US?

No, Dutch doesn't mean Deutsch. I can understand the confusion though, but its not the same.

To add to the confusion, Dutch people come from Holland, but the country is also called Netherlands or The Netherlands :-).

Grtz,
Marco
